About the opportunity
Health infrastructure is looking for a dynamic and proactive Program Manager, Medical Equipment Technology to integrate with Capital Project teams, applying their technology expertise and relationship building skills to enable best in class and fit-for-purpose facilities utilising major medical equipment (MME).
The Program Manager, Medical Equipment Technology is responsible for leading the delivery of the MME Planning and Design workstream for multiple Capital Projects. The role will undertake the full range of project delivery activities including planning, stakeholder management, and milestone reporting to facilitate the engagement and agreement from key partners to optimise MME planning and design. The role works collaboratively with key stakeholders including the Health Infrastructure Project Teams, Advisory Service Leads, Local Health Districts [LHDs] and other government agencies.
The role further supports the development and implementation of improvement strategies across the HI Capital Infrastructure portfolio to maximise value and enabling best in class facilities through fit-for-purpose medical equipment, whilst balancing cost, risk and performance of these critical assets.
This is a fixed term contract role for a two-year period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
You are a proactive and solutions-focused professional with a passion for creating well-designed, functional environments that support the delivery of exceptional healthcare. With a strong background in MME planning and design, you bring both technical expertise and hands-on project experience—ideally within healthcare or large-scale infrastructure settings.
