About the opportunity

The Construction and Safety Manager monitors and assures aspects of Work Health, Safety and Construction quality across HI’s Capital Portfolio. Staying ahead of WH&S regulations and having a high level of awareness and expertise improving Construction quality are a core part of the role.

You will also play a vital role in evaluating practices, processes, and training requirements to ensure effective controls are in place to continually improve Capital Project outcomes and monitor key performance indicators.

About you

Health Infrastructure (HI) is seeking a highly skilled Construction and Safety Manager to support and assure construction safety and quality across designated capital projects for NSW Health. This pivotal role ensures that all construction processes are tightly monitored, adhering to rigorous safety, quality, and program standards that align with NSW Health and HI Guidelines.

In this role, you will establish, communicate, and monitor WHS strategies tailored to each project while ensuring alignment with HI’s overarching WHS policies and have a deep understanding of Construction Quality and Management across the Healthcare sector. You’ll collaborate with project stakeholders to promote a consistent and proactive approach to health and safety, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
