About the opportunity
The Senior Advisor, Procurement, is responsible for providing timely and strategic procurement advice to both internal & external project staff, supervising all procurement transactions and maintaining procurement records. The role will oversee and monitor the implementation of procurement policies, systems and frameworks, providing accurate and timely reporting on all procurement matters to ensure that best practice processes are followed by project teams across all HI projects.
This is a full-time ongoing role. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
• Be a seasoned procurement professional with hands-on experience, including conducting procurements and implementing strategies.
• Have an in depth understanding of NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework.
• Be conversant with procurement requirements across multiple categories including infrastructure, and Goods & Services.
• Have well developed stakeholder management skills in a fast-moving environment
• Be adept at working autonomously, and skilled at prioritising tasks.
• Be quick at adjusting to new processes and learning new systems.
• Be a team player and able to handle a large volume of work when required.
