About the opportunity
This role is central to strengthening Health Infrastructure's Safety Management System by developing clear, practical, and compliant documentation. You'll translate complex WHS and regulatory requirements into user-friendly procedures, standards, work instructions, and guidance materials that support consistent safety practices across Health Infrastructure’s project portfolio.
Working closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders, you'll conduct interviews with safety managers, project managers, and operational staff to gather technical information, understand operational context, and validate draft documents. Your work will ensure documentation is not only compliant with WHS legislation and relevant codes of practice—but is genuinely useful for the people who rely on it.
This is a full-time fixed term role until 30 September 2026. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills—comfortable interviewing subject matter experts and collaborating across teams
• Excellent document control practices and ability to manage multiple documents and competing timelines
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality, ensuring accuracy and consistency
