About the opportunity
The Manager, Sustainability is responsible for leading a program of innovative environmental sustainability initiatives across Health Infrastructure to advance Net Zero readiness and build climate resilience in line with Government policy objectives.
The role will provide direction for a variety of initiatives at an organisational level and across the capital program on a range of sustainability issues. The role will support the delivery of organisational sustainability initiatives as well as supporting the capital program through identification of project sustainability initiatives and providing advice and insight to project teams on compliance with sustainability requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
he role will be required to develop relationships and work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including NSW Ministry of Health and Health Entities to facilitate engagement and ensure the successful implementation of sustainability initiatives across the state.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This is a full time fixed term role for a three-year period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
We are seeking someone with a background in sustainability, ideally with experience in the built environment and sustainable building verification programs such as Green Star and NABERS. This role suits someone with strong leadership, communication and engagement skills to drive sustainability outcomes at Health Infrastructure and across NSW Health.
