About the opportunity
As a Planning Advisor, Post Approvals, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Health Infrastructure’s capital projects meet their statutory town planning requirements, providing accurate and timely post approval advice that supports the successful delivery of health facilities across NSW.
You’ll guide project teams and contractors through their compliance obligations, prepare high quality documentation, manage post approval submissions, and monitor emerging trends across the portfolio. Your work will also see you liaising with government agencies and specialist advisors, contributing to continuous improvement and helping shape efficient, compliant and sustainable infrastructure outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, purpose driven organisation delivering projects that make a real difference to NSW communities.
This is a fixed term full time role for a three-year period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
You bring solid post approval planning or project experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce accurate, high‑quality documentation. Confident in interpreting NSW statutory town planning requirements, you support project teams effectively and maintain reliable post approval records across multiple projects. Clear communication and strong stakeholder‑engagement skills enable you to work well with external process and policy improvements that strengthen the Town Planning function. If this sounds like you, apply now and make a meaningful difference.
Experience working in planning or project teams managing post approval requirements of State Significant Development and Part 5 REF approvals is highly desired.
