About the opportunity
Health Infrastructure is looking for a seasoned media leader ready to step into a high profile role shaping the narrative around some of NSW’s most significant health projects. This is a rare opportunity to tell the stories of health infrastructure, while strengthening trust and safeguarding reputation in a complex and fast moving environment.
Working at the heart of a collaborative communications function, you’ll partner closely with senior executives, the Ministry of Health and Ministerial offices to deliver clear, confident and coordinated media outcomes. You’ll lead the response to emerging issues, produce high quality media materials under pressure, and guide a small, capable team to deliver best practice results—making a meaningful impact in a purpose driven organisation that truly matters.
This is a fixed term full time opportunity for three years period. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

You are a confident, resilient media leader who thrives in fast paced, high pressure environments. Known for your clear judgement and steady counsel, you provide timely, high quality advice amid competing priorities. With a strong understanding of public issues and the NSW Government landscape, you anticipate emerging risks and shape proactive media strategies. Comfortable operating in complex, politically sensitive settings, you bring sound discretion, credibility and a deep respect for established communication protocols.
