About the opportunity
A pivotal leadership role at Health Infrastructure, where strategy meets impact and innovation drives outcomes. As Director, Strategy, Risk & Governance, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of Health Infrastructure. This is more than a leadership position, it is an opportunity to influence how health infrastructure is planned, governed, and delivered to support the evolving needs of NSW Health.
You’ll join a passionate and collaborative Strategy & Operations team. Together, you will navigate complex challenges, foster a culture of transparency and resilience, and champion best practices in governance and risk management. The team values diversity of thought, encourages creative problem-solving, and works together to deliver strategic outcomes.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to build strong partnerships both within Health Infrastructure and with external stakeholders. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving strategic change, embedding robust frameworks, and ensuring that our organisation remains agile and responsive. If you are ready to make a lasting impact and lead with purpose, this is the opportunity for you.
Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.
This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.
About you
We are seeking a leader with:
• Proven ability in developing and implementing strategic planning and reporting frameworks.
• Experience working within the NSW public sector and knowledge of NSW government policy framework and policy implementation.
• Extensive experience in leading projects and influencing change across teams or organisations.
You will be adept at embedding strategic frameworks into business as usual operations, anticipating and responding to changes in government priorities, and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and manage organisational risk.
