About the Opportunity
The Education & Training Manager, Aboriginal Cultural Capability provides leadership and operational oversight for the delivery of Respecting the Difference and other Aboriginal cultural safety education and training programs across NSW Health. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, culturally safe program delivery statewide.
This position is based within the Delivery Hub, which operates within the Centre of Expertise in the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI). The position collaborates closely with agencies and the Centre of Expertise team to ensure education and training meets local needs while maintaining statewide standards and cultural integrity. The position reports to the Associate Director and works in partnership with the Senior Education Manager, Centre of Expertise to deliver high-quality, culturally safe education and training programs.

Essential Requirements
This is an identified Aboriginal position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent, identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, and be accepted as such in their local community. Selection Criteria

- Relevant qualifications in education, cultural capability, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated relevant experience with expertise with a commitment to Aboriginal-led approaches and culturally safe practice. Experience in the healthcare sector is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering or supporting cultural safety training programs, with a strong understanding of Aboriginal cultural protocols, community priorities, and the emotional and cultural demands placed on facilitators.
- Proven ability to manage and support a diverse facilitator workforce, including onboarding, mentoring, supervision, and coordination of training delivery across multiple agencies and locations.
- Strong operational leadership skills, including experience managing complex logistics, surge capacity, and training schedules in dynamic service environments
