Are you highly organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting programs that make a real difference in health education? An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI) as an Administration Assistant in the Leadership Management Development and Educational Design (LMDED) Portfolio.
This is not your typical Administrative Assistant role. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic team, providing high-level administrative support such as scheduling, inbox management, and onboarding new staff. In this diverse and complex role, you’ll deliver comprehensive support to the Directors and Team, playing a key part in the development and delivery of health education programs within HETI’s Leadership, Management Development and Educational Design Portfolio..
Where you'll be working
The role is based in Sydney at 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards in a modern, purpose-built 5 star rated green campus that is well serviced by public transport and access to public parking. The building offers activity-based working conditions with agile and flexible workspaces and the latest in technology, modern end-of-trip facilities, and secure bicycle storage. There is an onsite cafe, and a 100-space childcare centre.
HETI offers competitive remuneration (base salary plus super and leave loading), a monthly ADO (for full-time staff), a range of flexible working options including hybrid working (all staff are required to attend the office weekly), as well as comprehensive leave entitlements and discounted access to fitness facilities. Professional development is well embedded in our organisation and staff are encouraged to continue their studies and take opportunities for furthering their careers.
HETI is committed to promoting the diversity of our people and our learners through fostering an inclusive culture where everyone feels safe to bring their whole selves to HETI. This includes actively breaking down barriers to enable staff to fully participate and be included in a way that respects and values difference. We encourage applications from people with disability, Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders, LGBTIQA+ and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
As a part of NSW Health, HETI is driven by the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment, building a positive workplace culture.
