Position Classification: Motor Vehicle Driver 23850_25200 (HR/MR Truck Driver)
Remuneration: $32.43 per hour plus shift allowances and 11.5% superannuation   

Hours Per Week:  Casual hours (Between 0600-1530 Monday – Friday and 0600-1200 Saturday)
Location:  Port Kembla

The Opportunity  

We are currently searching for a motivated individual who is looking for work with a purpose, to join our Linen Services team as a HR and/or MR Truck/Motor Vehicle Driver.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in production and dispatch activities within our linen facilities, and loading, transporting, and unloading of linen. Eligibility Requirements  

  • Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa.  
  • For heavy vehicle drivers (drivers of vehicles with a gross vehicle mass over 4.5tonnes), you must comply with HealthShare NSW guidelines under the Heavy Vehicle National Law.  These include regular licence checking, random drug & alcohol testing and adhering to all applicable laws and standards including taking all mandatory and necessary rest breaks. 
  • If you are identified as a preferred candidate and are external to HealthShare NSW, you will be required to complete a physical pre-employment health assessment (at no cost to you) to confirm your ability to safely perform the duties of the role. Employment is subject to successful completion of all pre-employment checks.
