About the opportunity

We are currently searching for a motivated individual who is looking for work with a purpose, to join our Linen Services team as a Semi Truck Driver.

In this role, you will be responsible for production and dispatch activities within our linen facilities, which may include making up/picking and packing customer orders, as well as the loading, transporting, and unloading of linen.

Additional information 

  • Applicants will be assessed against the essential criteria in Position Description
  • If successful following the application close date, you will be required to attend interview as well as reference checks
  • Candidates must have Australian work rights (citizens, permanent residents, or valid work visa). Permanent roles are open to Australian citizens and permanent residents, while temporary and casual roles welcome applicants with a visa
  • This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines. During application, please upload OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool with any vaccination evidence you have
  • If you are identified as a preferred candidate and are external to HealthShare NSW, you will be required to complete a physical pre-employment health assessment (at no cost to you) to confirm your ability to safely perform the duties of the role. Employment is subject to successful completion of all pre-employment checks
  • An eligibility list from this recruitment may be created for future casual, permanent, or temporary full-time or part-time positions within the next 6 months
  • For heavy vehicle drivers (drivers of vehicles with a gross vehicle mass over 4.5tonnes), you must comply with HealthShare NSW guidelines under the Heavy Vehicle National Law. These include regular licence checking, random drug & alcohol testing and adhering to all applicable laws and standards including taking all mandatory and necessary rest breaks
  • Requirement is to provide a driver history report from Service NSW with your application
