What you'll be doing 
As an Enrolled Nurse, you’ll provide safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care in line with patient care plans and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will play a vital role in supporting patients’ recovery, enhancing clinical outcomes, and ensuring high standards of care and documentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing patient assessments, identifying clinical changes and escalating concerns appropriately

  • Delivering nursing care within your scope of practice and aligned with the nursing care plan

  • Supporting patients with daily living activities and promoting independence

  • Accurately documenting care and maintaining compliance with NSW Health and WSLHD policies

  • Contributing to a cohesive nursing team, upholding safety, quality and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements

  • Registration: Current Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Division 2 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  

Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant and recent clinical experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD

  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

  3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal

  4. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership.

  5. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team

  6. Commitment to continuing professional development and demonstrated ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training.
