Registered Nurse Sexual Health/Hepatitis C

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with 3 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse with a current driver’s license with ability to travel throughout the district.
• Relevant post registration clinical experience and post graduate sexual health qualification or commitment to obtain same.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and responsibility for own actions within Registered Nurses scope of practice and works within the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Framework 'Competency Standards for a Registered Nurse'.
• Demonstrated understanding of the issues related to the transmission and prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections and Blood Born Viruses.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal
• Demonstrate organisational and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to provide the provision of cultural appropriate services to Indigenous and CALD individuals and communities. Ability to attend outreach clinics and have Current drivers licence.
• Demonstrated understanding of communicable disease control and Harm Minimisation strategies.
