Selection Criteria

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and registrations as required in Health, Social, or Behavioural Sciences or other relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  2. Demonstrated experience in Drug and Alcohol casework and well developed care management skills.
  3. Knowledge of key issues, concepts and approaches used in the Drug and Alcohol field, including harm minimisation and relapse prevention.
  4. Understanding of key issues and interventions for clients with co-existing mental health and substance issues.
  5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, oral, written and computer communication skills including the ability to compile reports and meet deadlines.
  6. Demonstrates understanding of the drug and alcohol issues and needs of Aboriginal and CALD individuals, families and communities.
  7. Proven ability to work effectively unsupervised and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Current Driver’s Licence.
