What you'll be doing
- Undertake switchboard and enquiry functions to provide a communication service for the Health Service and community.
- Answer general enquires.
- Undertake paging responsibilities.
- Perform emergency procedures in relation to Medical Emergency Team (MET), fire, and disaster and duress response (Code Black).

About Broken Hill

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Demonstrated excellent and effective communication skills and customer service skills i.e. written and verbal.
- Demonstrated effective computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft based software systems.
- Ability to demonstrate resilience and emotional intelligence during system emergencies i.e. cardiac arrests, security issues, distressed customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client/patients and relevant Health Service Business at all times.
- Ability to work shift work.
- Ability to work within other Hotel Services Departments.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct and/or relevant professional standards where applicable.
