To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent. This is a genuine occupational qualification for this position as described under Section 14 (d) of the Anti- Discrimination Act, 1977 (NSW)
- Applicants must meet 1 of the below criteria: a) Occupational Therapy Level 3: AHPRA reg as an Occupational Therapist & have min 3 yrs clinical experience in CAMHS. b) Social Worker Level 3: A Bach of Social Work with eligibility for membership to AASW & have min 3 yrs clinical experience in CAMHS. c) Grad of the Djirruwang Bach of Health Science program & have min 3 yrs clinical experience in CAMHS. d) Psychologist Yr 4 or above: AHPRA reg, full reg with Psychology Board of Aust & have min 4 yrs clinical experience. e) Senior Psychologist: AHPRA reg, full reg with the Psychology Board of Aust & have min 1 yr at the 9th yr of service & thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologist. f) Clinical Nurse Consultant 1: AHPRA reg as a RN with min 5 yrs FTE post reg clinical experience & post graduate qual’s relevant to area of specialty.
- Extensive effective experience in assessment, intervention and care coordination, in CAMHS.
- Demonstrated ability to independently problem solve, apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Extensive contemporary experience and knowledge of psychological practice, as well as demonstrated understanding of the principles of trauma informed care and its application when working with children/adolescents and families/carers.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills and competence in the use of information technology systems.
- Available to work extended hours and across FWLHD sites on request.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 licence acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
