To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.

  • Certificate III in Business administration and/or experience providing administration support, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated computer/data entry skills, specifically with MS office products in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet based applications and databases and experience in cash management, collection of fees and processing of accounts.
  • Proficient organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and the ability to exercise basic problem solving skills using reference to established methods and procedures.
  • Proficient interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
  • Capacity to work under broad supervision and ability to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team and understanding of cultural awareness issues and the need for cultural sensitivity.
  • The ability to travel when required within the Far West Local Health District facilities.
