About the Opportunity

As the Solution Architect within our HGEN (Health Grade Enterprise Network) Program at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through shaping and assuring next-generation network designs that support patient care, clinical systems, and statewide digital innovations.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the statewide HGEN network renewal program, modernising NSW Health’s network infrastructure to deliver secure, scalable, and standardised connectivity across hospitals and health facilities.

In this role, you will

•    Work alongside senior architects and district teams to develop high quality LAN and WLAN designs
•    Contribute to Network Infrastructure Designs and support the transition from traditional environments to next generation architectures.
•    Translate business, regulatory and technical inputs into fit-for-purpose enterprise solution architectures.
•    Identify and manage technology risks, offering technical assurance and clear remediation options.
•    Monitor and report on project deliverables to ensure time, cost and quality targets are met.
•    Communicate effectively across technical and business teams, resolving conflicts constructively and maintaining alignment with program standards.

About You

•    Background in healthcare or critical infrastructure setting.
•    You bring strong technical analysis skills and a passion for translating complex requirements into workable solutions.
•    You have proven experience designing across multiple network OEMs and environments.
•    Extensive experience designing and delivering integrated, enterprise-scale technology solutions in large and complex service environments.
•    Strong track record translating business needs into clear system and technical requirements aligned to enterprise architecture standards.
•    Deep knowledge of solution development, integration patterns, and architectural best practice.
