About the Opportunity
As Senior Platform Owner at eHealth NSW, you’ll manage and lead the Cloud Engineering team as a collection of products on the AWS platform. You will support strategic product roadmaps by ensuring the platform roadmap aligns with business OKRs and platform governance policies, including the investment and financial viability of opportunities to maximise the platforms customer value.

 

Collaboration with the wider eHealth cloud engineering community will be part of your role to ensure alignment with best practice, optimisation and eHealth Strategies

 

You’ll lead the strategic engagement on the platform ownership across the NSW health system, balance competing demands to achieve business objectives, establish effective stakeholder relationships and arrangements that ensure customer input to all decisions, and balance state-wide needs with local innovation and national directions

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Lead the development and delivery of the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, governance policies, and strategic product roadmaps.
  • Oversee the technical governance of the platform, driving consistency, interoperability, and adherence to platform standards and direction.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, development teams and stakeholders to optimise user experience, maximise platform capabilities, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Mentor and Guide the technical teams and manage vendor relationships to ensure platform solutions are fit for purpose, deliver value, and support long-term organisational goals.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Brings relevant qualifications or certifications in Information Technology, or demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience managing complex platforms within an Agile environment in AWS (preferred)
  • Demonstrates a strong record of success leading multidisciplinary teams across large and complex clinical ICT service settings.
  • Showcases experience in effectively managing platform delivery, including financial management and governance responsibilities.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments where collaboration, adaptability, and strategic thinking drive impactful digital health outcomes.
