About the Opportunity

We have 2 x roles available for Solution Architects within our Strategy Architecture and Transformation Office (SATO) to support the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority. Both positions may also be required to provide solution architecture advice and support for other programs and projects as required by the SATO.

Infrastructure Solution Architect

The role will primarily support the SDPRIA, specifically the End User Devices and Clinical Technology Integration team. The key activity for the role will be designing and documenting infrastructure and integration solutions for end user & biomedical devices (e.g. Patient Monitoring Systems) to support bedside clinical care.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate business requirements into working technical solution
  • Lead collaboration across eHealth and LHD teams to develop specialised requirements that ensure our solutions meet the technical, security, clinical, safety and regulatory needs of NSW Health

HOPE Solution Architect

This role will primarily support the SDPRIA to design and plan the target and transitional integrations for NSW Healths HOPE platform with the Epic Single Digital Patient Record. The role will be required to understand, document and define the current state, target state, and transitional solution architectures and assist in the planning of the technical solution implementation.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate business requirements into working technical solution
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to validate solution requirements and
  • Lead system and technical design activities to ensure the integrations and solutions meet the needs of NSW Health.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to influence and effectively manage stakeholder relationships
  • Working knowledge of systems and relevant technical domains (application, integration, analytics etc.)
  • Understanding of the unique challenges of delivering ICT solutions and devices within a complex federated service environment
  • Experience designing and/or delivering ICT solutions within a hospital or health facility environment,
  • Knowledge of or experience with Epic and SaaS solutions such as ServiceNow
