We have an exciting opportunity in the for a Clinical Applications Services for a Senior Solution Architect.

The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of technology solutions within projects/programs by developing agreed solution architectures aligned to enterprise-wide architectures and standards.

Health Manager Level 5, commencing salary from $166,678.00 - $186,448.00 plus super and annual leave loading

What you will do 

As an integral member of the Clinical Applications Services team you will:

  • Provide leadership and direction to project team/s to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes of the project and ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance-based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer-focussed work culture.
  • Design and deliver secure, scalable multi-cloud architectures (AWS & Azure), with a strong focus on automation, cloud-native design patterns, and compliance—particularly within complex healthcare or enterprise environments.
  • Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms, including the design of secure, scalable Data Lakes and solutions across the full data stack.
  • Apply deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as the Privacy and Security Architecture Framework (PSAF) and the Essential Eight (E8), ensuring secure architecture across multi-cloud and hybrid environments in line with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Architect and implement healthcare integration solutions leveraging HL7/FHIR standards, enabling secure, seamless interoperability between diverse clinical systems and applications.
  • Ensuring the architecture is implemented in accordance to design over entire life cycle of project/program and managing changes to design by ensuring stakeholders are informed and in agreement to any changes. 
  • Manage interdependencies and coordination across programs to ensure that information relating to design solutions for programs, risks and issues are effectively communicated, contingencies developed, and solutions are negotiated between stakeholders.

About you

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Proven expertise in designing and delivering integrated tech solutions for large, complex organisations. This includes relevant qualifications/experience and a strong track record of aligning with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the development of strategic direction and standards of technology investments to assist in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximise the return on technology investment.
