About the Opportunity
As an Integration Manager of our Technology, Devices and Integration team within SDPRIA, you’ll lead the development and implementation of the Integration Strategy for the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) Program. Your focus will be on designing and delivering complex systems integration architecture that connects the SDPR solution to broader NSW Health systems and services.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of digital healthcare across NSW by designing, building and deploying high-value interfaces using HL7, CDA, and FHIR standards. You’ll also work with leading-edge technologies including AWS and contribute to DevOps and Agile ways of working to ensure successful, secure and scalable integration across the state.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the development and delivery of the SDPR Integration Strategy and Architecture.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of multiple integration projects across NSW Health, balancing local and statewide needs.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team and vendor partners through interface design, build, testing and deployment phases.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within the organisation and partner agencies to align on integration priorities and risk mitigation.
  • Support cloud-first delivery models, DevOps practices, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, evolving digital health environment.

About You

We are looking for a Healthcare Integration leader who:

  • Brings deep experience in healthcare integration, with a strong understanding of interoperability standards, digital health ecosystems, and the operational realities of clinical systems across hospitals or health services.
  • Has proven expertise in integration platforms and tools, including experience with enterprise services buses, interface engines (e.g. Rhapsody, Mirth), and healthcare messaging standards such as HL7 v2/ v3, CDA, and FHIR.
  • Understands the complexities of connecting Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), pathology, imaging, billing, and other core clinical and administrative systems at a state-wide or enterprise level.
  • Is experienced in cloud deployment and management, particularly AWS, and working within Agile and DevOps environments, and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Holds relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in digital health, systems architecture, or integration development.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, and health sector change management capabilities to ensure alignment between integration activities and broader clinical and operational goals.
