What you’ll be doing

The primary purpose of the role is to drive a coordinated, collaborative and strategically aligned approach to planning, monitoring and evaluation across the Cancer Institute NSW ensuring alignment to the NSW Cancer Plan, Future Health Strategy and the Performance Agreement between the Institute and the NSW Ministry of Health to support the effective achievement against all objectives.

In addition to base salary:

• 11.5% superannuation
• 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
• 10 days sick leave
• 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

Essential requirements

• Graduate qualifications in Public Health and/or equivalent professional experience in best practice
  planning and evaluation.
• Demonstrated achievement in delivering best practice organisational or system wide planning, including
  in complex planning in environments.
• Demonstrated expertise and experience leading high quality evaluation and monitoring projects, including
  developing and implementing best-practice methodologies and tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in the interpretation and simple analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and
  in developing indicators.
• Proven track record in negotiating, influencing and building productive relationships with a diverse group
  of stakeholders at all levels and across differing programs.
• Knowledge of the health system in NSW and/or the Commonwealth, including health system plans (such
  as Future Health), processes and health related data collections. 

If successful for interview candidates must bring original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.

• Please outline your experience in delivering an organisational or system wide plan in a complex environment
• Please outline your experience in supporting key stakeholders through changes and improvements to established practices.
