Join Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) as a Level 3 Physiotherapist leading acute care services within the ICU and Surgical units. This role is planned to be based at Wyong Hospital and oversees a team of junior physiotherapists, physiotherapy assistants and students. About the Opportunity

As a Level 3 Physiotherapist, you will lead the delivery of acute physiotherapy services across ICU and Surgical units. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team that includes new graduates, junior physiotherapists, and physiotherapy assistants, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Your role will involve managing complex clinical caseloads, driving best practice standards, and contributing to service development and continuous improvement initiatives. With the opportunity to influence both patient care and staff development, you will play a key part in shaping the future of physiotherapy services within CCLHD.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed a Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement.
  • Proven experience in acute physiotherapy, preferably within ICU and/or surgical settings.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with experience supervising and mentoring junior staff and assistants.
