This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

About the Opportunity

In this role you will provide day-to-day oversight to the Outpatient service across CCLHD, including outpatient musculoskeletal services, hydrotherapy and fracture clinics. This role involves managing waitlists, resource allocation between sites, monitoring and reporting service activity, and supervising senior (Level 3) and junior (Level 1/2) staff members.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Bachelors or postgraduate degree in Physiotherapy and registration as a Physiotherapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency (AHPRA), and a current valid Australian driver's licence and the ability and willingness to travel across sites for meetings and clinical 
    care provision.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive post-graduate experience in rehabilitation physiotherapy
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate activity across a physiotherapy site, with inpatient, outpatient and hydrotherapy services.
