Are you a dedicated nurse with a passion for inclusive care? Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a Sexual Health Nurse to join our team and provide high quality, culturally responsive care to vulnerable and priority populations within our community.
About the Role
As a Sexual Health Nurse you will play a vital role in:
- Providing expert clinical care and health education to diverse communities attending the sexual health service.
- Delivering a sexual health service, including testing for STI's and BBV's, genital examinations, vaccinations, venepuncture, triage and referral.
- Supporting public health outcomes through early detection, patient education, and contact tracing of notifiable infections.
- Driving continuous improvement through research, professional development, and participation in innovative clinical projects.

About You
- You’re an AHPRA-registered nurse with strong clinical skills in sexual health or transferable skills and experience.
- Demonstrated post-graduate experience and extensive recent experience in the area of sexual health/HIV sector or evidence of advanced clinical practice skills that could transition to sexual health nursing.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and accept responsibility whilst working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Understanding of priority populations attending a sexual health service and demonstrated non-judgemental and empathic approach to delivery of care.
