Our Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Gosford Hospital is strengthening its team, and we’re looking for Registered Nurses with Mental Health experience or Registered Nurses who have a passionate interest in Mental Health, who take pride in delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented care.

About the Role
As a Mental Health RN, you will:
- Deliver safe, compassionate, recovery-oriented nursing care
- Conduct mental state assessments and risk assessments
- Respond to acute behavioural escalation using trauma-informed approaches
- Maintain clinical documentation aligned with policy and the Mental Health Act
- Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health, medical officers and peer workers
- Contribute to a unit culture of respect, accountability and teamwork

About You
You are a Registered Nurse who:
- Has experience in mental health (inpatient or community)
- Communicates with clarity, calmness and compassion
- Values teamwork and continuous improvement
- Brings resilience, critical thinking and professional boundaries
- Wants to be part of a service focused on achieving stability and cultural uplift
