At CCLHD, our vision is clear: Trusted care. Better health for everyone. On our Aged Care Unit at Woy Woy Hospital, this vision is brought to life through compassionate, person-centred care for older people, many living with dementia, frailty, and complex health needs.
About the Role
- As a Registered Nurse in our dedicated aged care team, you’ll support older patients during one of the most vulnerable phases of their lives. This is a chance to deliver dignified, respectful care, make meaningful connections, and be part of a team that values kindness just as much as clinical skill.
- You’ll be supported with ongoing education, a warm team culture, and an environment that recognises the emotional impact, and deep rewards of aged care nursing.
- This role works on a rotating roster, including 8-hour morning and 10-hour night shifts. We understand the importance of flexibility and mental health support, and we are committed to providing a workplace where you feel valued and empowered.
- Free parking is available and easy access to public transport for added convenience
For more information about this role, please view the Position Description.
About You
You’re someone who sees the person before the patient. Compassionate, grounded, and steady under pressure, you bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Recent experience in aged care, ideally with a focus on dementia or geriatric care
- A caring, patient-centred approach—able to support people with empathy and dignity
- Confidence using digital health systems and communicating clearly with residents, families, and colleagues
- A collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Personal resilience, emotional maturity, and the desire to make a meaningful difference
Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
