About the Opportunity

The Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of the nursing team, working under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse to support and care for patients. 

This position plays a key role in ensuring continuity of care and enhancing the overall patient experience. In this role you will:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living.

  • Provide physical and psychological comfort and support to patients.

  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with patients, carers and other health care team members/colleagues regarding nursing care.

  • Participate in health care planning, practice and evaluation which achieves patient outcomes.

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration).

  • Nursing knowledge and skills relevant to the position speciality.

  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication.

  • Committed to teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
