About the Opportunity
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, playing an integral role in the delivery of quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
This role contributes to positive patient outcomes through clinical excellence, teamwork, and a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, while supporting CCLHD’s Caring for the Coast vision.
In this role you will:
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) standards and scope of practice.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, providing physical and psychological comfort and support.
Participate in patient assessment, including observation, monitoring, and reporting of health status.
- Accurately collect, document, and communicate healthcare information to support continuity of care.
- Undertake delegated nursing interventions, including medication administration (including IV medications), as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Work collaboratively with patients, carers, and members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Participate in healthcare planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve patient-centred outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement activities and deliver a high standard of customer service.
- Demonstrate behaviours aligned with NSW Health CORE values and the CCLHD Values and Behaviours Charter.

About You
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Enrolled Nurse who is committed to safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2).
- A NMBA-approved qualification for administration of medications, including intravenous medication administration..
- Recent clinical experience in Orthopaedics and/or Acute Surgical nursing.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including effective use of clinical information systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team nursing model and multidisciplinary environment.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a dynamic clinical setting.
- A commitment to quality improvement, practice development, and evidence-based nursing care.
- An understanding of Caring for the Coast and how your role contributes to improved patient outcomes.
