Are you an enthusiastic and motivated nurse educator ready to take the next step in your career? Gosford Emergency Department is looking for a Clinical Nurse Educator who is organised, collaborative, and passionate about empowering others through learning.
About the Opportunity
As our Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:
- Lead and support education and development in the Emergency Department – provide guidance, coaching, and structured learning opportunities that build the confidence and clinical capability of nurses in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth – encourage curiosity, promote reflective practice, and support staff in developing new skills to ensure excellence in emergency care.
- Design and deliver engaging education programs – apply learning principles to create practical, innovative, and evidence-based sessions tailored to the needs of both new and experienced staff.
- Collaborate and innovate within a multidisciplinary team – work closely with nurses, medical staff, and allied health professionals to enhance patient outcomes, while shaping the educator role to reflect your own strengths, creativity, and professional interests.

About You
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), with relevant post-graduate qualifications in clinical practice or education, or equivalent experience in both areas.
- Recent advanced-level experience in cardiology and/or critical care nursing.
- Proven experience in delivering education, with a sound understanding of contemporary learning and assessment principles.
- Strong ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
- Applicants must have current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants who do not meet this requirement.
