Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) are looking for a warm, compassionate, and professional Administrative Officer (Level 3) to join our dedicated Paediatric Outpatient team at Wyong Hospital.
About the Role
In this frontline position, you’ll be the welcoming face and reassuring voice for children and families visiting our outpatient unit. You’ll play a vital role in creating a calm, friendly, and supportive experience — often during times of uncertainty.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in patients and families
- Answering phone calls and handling enquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Managing appointment bookings and inbox communication
- Supporting clinical teams with smooth administrative processes
- Ensuring families feel informed, heard, and supported throughout their visit
Hours:
- Thursdays and Fridays: 8:00am – 4:30pm
- 16 hours per week (permanent part-time)

About You
You have:
Demonstrated customer service skills and experience.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
Ability to exercise basic problem-solving skills using reference to established methods and procedures
Demonstrated computer/data entry skills, specifically with MS office products in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet-based applications and databases.
