Are you a compassionate and experienced mental health professional committed to delivering high-quality patient care? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health Unit, where you will play a key role in providing safe, person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

In this specialised role, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of comprehensive nursing care, with a focus on the assessment, planning, and implementation of strategies to manage patients experiencing acute mental illness, high-risk behaviours, or complex presentations.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in the Mental Health Ward at Wyong Hospital, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to patients. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide clinical support, supervision to junior staff, and contribute to a positive, recovery-focused environment. This is a temporary full-time opportunity offering flexible work arrangements and a strong team culture.

About You

  •        Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  •        Recent post graduate clinical experience in mental health and commitment to quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
  •        Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
  •        Experience in mental health assessment, clinical documentation, and person-centred care planning.
