Do you thrive in a team environment where your contribution truly matters? At Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD), we are committed to Trusted Care, Better Health for Everyone, and we are looking for dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to be an essential part of our Aged Care Response team.
The Aged Care Response Team consists of experience Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses who support Residential Aged Care Homes to care for residents in the comfort of their home environment. The service provides clinical nurse consultation, advise, provision of care, care planning, education and support. This service operates 7 days a week Mon - Sun between the hours of 8am - 7.30pm.
About the Opportunity
The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing person-centred nursing care to patients/clients of the health service. Your role is vital in ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for every individual in our care.
This position plays a key role in ensuring continuity of care and enhancing the overall patient experience. In this role you will:
Lead, direct and supervise other nurses and care roles in the team through sharing of knowledge and supporting the development of other nursing colleagues and undergraduate students.
Provide care within scope of practice and escalate the need for increased care requirements as appropriate.
Participate in activities designed to maintain or improve patient safety and quality of care.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Must have driver licence. We will not be able to consider applicants without a licence to drive a car in NSW.
Demonstrated ability to meet the essential criteria of the role.
Recent clinical experience relevant to the position specialty.
Demonstrated effective clinical communication skills through the use of information technology and sound written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Understanding of team nursing and demonstrated skills to work effectively and collaboratively both independently and as part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Demonstrated ability to make informed clinical decisions and to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
