Central Coast Local Health District has developed an opportunity for an experienced Exercise Physiologist to work collaboratively within our multi-disciplinary community allied health team across CCLHD Health sites.

This recruitment may be used to fill future positions via an eligibility list for permanent, full time, part time, temporary and casual positions.

You will be providing evidence-based exercise physiology services collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, including consumers, carers and families. Your role will be to provide specialised assessment, exercise prescription, health education, lifestyle and behaviour modification programs and individual and group exercise services to the target population. You will engage individuals and their support networks through the use of recovery and strengths-based models to improve physical and mental health well-being, functional capacity and quality of life.

About You

  • You have Tertiary qualifications in Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation or Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
  • You have demonstrated experience and expertise in providing individual and group-based exercise physiology services to consumers with complex chronic health problems.
  • You have demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuous quality improvement.
  • You enjoy working independently and as part of a team and have a focus on developing key relationships in a multi-disciplinary team.

You will be required to travel across CCLHD Health sites.
