About the Opportunity
This position is based with the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub, as part of the CCLHD CAMHS service. The role provides assessment and intervention to children aged 0-12 experiencing mild to moderate mental health and or behavioural health concerns. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver evidence-based interventions that promote early intervention and wellbeing for children, their care givers and family networks. In this role you will:
• Provide bio-psycho-social-cultural assessment, intervention and care coordination to children aged 0-12 experiencing mild to moderate mental health and or behavioural concerns, and their caregivers.
• Deliver specialist, evidence based and trauma informed therapeutic interventions with a strong early intervention and wellbeing focus.
• Develop collaborative care plans that actively involve families and carers in assessment, review and discharge planning.
• Liaise with schools, General Practitioners, inpatient units and community services to ensure integrated and holistic care.
• Maintain accurate, timely and confidential documentation in line with legislation, policy and quality standards.

About You
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate clinician who is committed to improving outcomes for young people and families. The successful applicant will demonstrate:
• Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline with current professional registration and at least three years postgraduate clinical experience.
• Experience working within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and a sound understanding of early intervention models of care.
• Strong knowledge of the mental health needs of children and young people and demonstrated ability to deliver trauma informed care.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary and interagency settings.
• Current Australian Drivers Licence, Working With Children Check, National Police Check and compliance with Category A immunisation requirements.
