Employment Type: Health Manager Level 3, Full Time – Exempt (Until March 2027)
Remuneration: $137,523.00 - $156,231.00 per annum, plus 12% superannuation
Hours Per Week: 38

The Agency for Clinical Innovation (ACI) leads innovation in clinical care across NSW. We do this by bringing clinicians, patients and healthcare managers together to design and implement new ways to deliver healthcare. 

 

About the Opportunity
The Senior Project Officer will lead and support the development and implementation of high-priority projects aimed at enhancing the quality and safety of emergency care services across NSW. Working closely with the Emergency Care Institute Network Manager, Emergency Care Clinical Director, Emergency Care team, ACI streams, directorates and key stakeholders, the Senior Project Officer will play a pivotal role in driving improvements and fostering collaboration to achieve better outcomes for emergency care.

Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with demonstrated experience in a management or leadership role.
  2. An understanding of the contemporary issues, challenges and directions facing emergency health care services.
  3. Demonstrated experience in project management and the implementation of local/regional projects, frameworks and/or initiatives with state wide application.
  4. Advanced oral and written communication, interpersonal, consultation and stakeholder engagement skills, with demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative approach, and maintain strong positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

 

Pre-Screening Questions

  1. How has your experience working in or with emergency department clinicians informed your understanding of contemporary issues, and what projects have you led or significantly contributed to, to address an issue?
  2. This role works extensively with clinicians, health districts, specialty networks, and NSW Health agencies. Describe a situation where you gained agreement from stakeholders with differing priorities to achieve a common goal. What approach did you take and what was the result?
