What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Colorectal/UGI ward, you’ll deliver high-quality, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Ensure timely, culturally appropriate care for patients with complex surgical needs
Support and mentor fellow nurses, fostering a learning environment
Promote evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare colleagues

Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria
Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Recent demonstrated experience in the Intensive Care setting or critical care nursing/other experience deemed appropriate by WSLHD
Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
