What you'll be doing 


As a Registered Midwife, you will provide individualised, high-quality care that maximises health outcomes for women and their families. You will work collaboratively to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care in line with professional standards and scope of practice.

  • Deliver safe, effective and person-centred midwifery care.

  • Assess patient needs and coordinate appropriate referrals.

  • Respond to changing clinical situations with confidence and skill.

  • Supervise, mentor and support students and junior staff.

  • Advocate for women and families while managing clinical priorities.

Essential Requirements

  • Registration: Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife 

     

Selection Criteria

  1. Previous relevant clinical experience in speciality.

  2. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.

  3. Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.

  4. Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

  5. Commitment to continuing professional development.

  6. Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team .
