Selection Criteria
§ Possess registration with the Medical Board of Australia, have completed a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology and possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent as provided for Visiting Medical Officer in the Public Hospitals (Visiting Medical Officers Sessional Contracts).
§ Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Australian Residency
§ Strong clinical knowledge in Foetal, Neonatal and Paediatric Radiology demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position.
§ High level interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
§ Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision of more junior trainees and medical students, and familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support clinical research within the Department.
§ Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice.
§ Demonstrates the skills and attitudes appropriate for practice as a Senior Practitioner.
