Lead, build and manage a pioneering Pacific Health Hub delivering culturally safe maternal, child and family health services that improve outcomes for Pacific communities.

Remuneration: $68.50 - $69.86 per hour

Where you'll be working
Mount Druitt Community Health Centre is home to the newly established Pacific Health Hub, a community-driven initiative focused on improving health outcomes for Pacific families across Western Sydney. This innovative hub will bring together maternal and child health services with a range of integrated health programs to provide culturally safe, coordinated care.
You will join a passionate, multidisciplinary team committed to strengthening community partnerships and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

What you'll be doing
The Nurse Manager – Pacific Health Hub provides strategic leadership to establish and manage services that support Pacific communities, with a strong focus on maternal, child and family health. The role is responsible for ensuring effective service coordination, workforce leadership and resource management to deliver safe, high-quality care.
· Lead the establishment and operational management of the Pacific Health Hub
· Manage workforce planning, recruitment and retention across nursing and midwifery services
· Drive integration of key services including maternal health, mental health and drug and alcohol programs
· Promote contemporary, evidence-based models of care to improve health outcomes
· Support staff development, research and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

Essential Criteria:
· License: Current NSW Driver’s License
· Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience in the delivery of Child & Family Health Nursing Services and / or Maternal Health Services. and post graduate qualifications in child & family health nursing and/or midwifery.
2. Demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to motivate, manage and develop clinical staff and demonstrated effective planning, organisational, problem-solving skills and ability to lead in a changing environment, to prioritise workload, manage resources and meet deadlines.
3. Demonstrated understanding of the issues and health needs of Pacific Communities and significant experience in working with Pacific Communities
4. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner through the application of high-level written, verbal, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills and manage conflicts and performance issues when they arise.
5. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking to set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes and to project manage and lead change initiatives.
6. Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
