Hours Per Week: 32
Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
Working Hours: 7.30am – 4.00pm

What you'll be doing
As a Health Information Release Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the lawful, timely and accurate release of health information.
Process and manage Release of Information (ROI) requests from internal and external stakeholders
Review, analyse and extract relevant information from electronic and paper-based medical records
Apply NSW Health legislation, privacy requirements and local guidelines to all requests
Liaise with clinicians, patients, legal bodies and external agencies to meet mandated timeframes
Track, audit and record ROI activity using corporate record-keeping systems and performance measures

Understanding of patient confidentiality, Release of Information policies & knowledge of health record processes
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time appropriately, prioritise workload and work under pressure
Demonstrated enthusiastic work ethic and the ability to and work as part of a team
Excellent computer skills across a variety of applications
Demonstrated attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative
Ability to work across multiple WSLHD facilities as required
