What you’ll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse in the casual pool, you will provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You’ll support patients and families, deliver high-quality care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team.
- Provide direct nursing care within a plan of care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Recognise and report changes in patient conditions, escalating concerns appropriately
- Support patients with daily living activities to promote independence and comfort
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure safe and effective care
- Communicate sensitively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to support continuity of care
Essential Requirements
- Registration: Current Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience relevant to the position.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice of an Enrolled Nurse.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary health care team.
- An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
