Remuneration: $66,976.41 - $72,773.45 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
As an Enrolled Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, supporting patients through urgent and critical presentations.

·       Deliver direct nursing care aligned with care plans, policies, and clinical direction

·       Work within your scope of practice while collaborating closely with Registered Nurses

·       Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant clinical documentation

·       Support a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff

·       Contribute to teamwork, communication, and escalation of care in a fast-paced ED setting

Essential Criteria:

·       Registration: Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia

 

Selection Criteria: 

1.     Current registration as a Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.

2.     Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others

3.     Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.

4.     Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.

5.     Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.

6.     Detailed knowledge and understanding of risk management, safety and quality principles and the role of the Enrolled Nurse in applying these principles.

7.     Demonstrated recent nursing experience in acute care or an emergency department.
