Lead, build and transform executive workforce strategy to enable safe, high quality patient care across Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals.

Remuneration: $173,345 - $193,906 per annum
Hours Per Week: 40

You will join the Hospital Executive Team and work in close partnership with the People and Culture Directorate to deliver contemporary, consistent and high impact workforce solutions.

What you'll be doing
As Director Executive Human Resources, you will provide strategic and operational leadership of workforce services, ensuring the organisation has the capability, capacity and culture to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
• Lead and manage an executive HR business partnering function supporting senior leaders
• Provide expert advice on complex employment, industrial, WHS and regulatory matters
• Drive workforce strategy, organisational change and cultural improvement initiatives
• Lead HR input into major redevelopment, service expansion and transformation projects
• Oversee governance, risk, investigations, accreditation and industrial relations matters

Selection Criteria
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources/Workforce/Employee Relations Management or Employment Law, or other relevant field and/or extensive experience working at an Executive Level and/or combination of study and work experience.
Proven experience working as part of an Executive Team of a large complex business, driving workforce capability to align with business objectives.
Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience in managing and leading large-scale organisational change initiatives including significant redevelopment and service redesign projects.
Superior high level oral communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to coach, motivate and mentor managers and staff, combined with the ability to prepare complex briefs, reports and submissions.
Demonstrated ability in managing a HR Generalist team of a large highly unionised and complex organisation and ensuring the provision of optimal HR services.
Substantial experience in employment relations including advocacy, negotiation, dispute management and alternate dispute resolution skills in a highly volatile and complex industrial setting.
Excellent strategic planning, change management, project management and policy/procedure development skills including the ability to make complex judgements and take initiative
