Join our HITH team as a Clinical Nurse Educator, providing vital education, supporting staff in delivering quality in-home care, and collaborating to enhance patient outcomes.
Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Educator
Remuneration: $106,491.24 - $109,945.46 per annum
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: Cumberland Hospital & Blacktown Hospital

- Registration: Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
- Relevant postgraduate clinical experience in relevant specialty as deemed appropriate by WSLHD.
- Demonstrated recent experience in clinical teaching, delivery and evaluation of education programs and provision of support & guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change within the context of best practice clinical care and workplace culture.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and a strong commitment to the ongoing enhancement of clinical practice within a client/patient centred, multi-disciplinary clinical environment.
- Demonstrated effective and high-level communication skills including negotiation and conflict resolutions skills in addition to proven ability to motivate and engage people in the clinical setting.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.
- Relevant computer skills including use of software programs to develop and deliver education and enter data.
- Current NSW Class C drivers license and willingness to use for work purposes.
