Essential Criteria:
Vaccination: Category A
Checks: Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (NSW Registered Nurse – Division 1).
Selection Criteria:
- A minimum of five years full time equivalent post registration experience, with three years full time experiences in the area of clinical specialty nursing including but not restricted to neurology, psychiatry , palliative care, dementia care, people with Huntington disease experience an advantage.
- Relevant post graduate nursing qualification in specialty area
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment and ability in expert level nursing practice.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework
- Proven ability to implement changes and influence the direction of clinical practice by participation in professional bodies and the utilisation of evidence based research in everyday practice
- Ability to travel for work in a broad community area and possess an unrestricted NSW Drivers License
