What you'll be doing
As a key member of the Workers Compensation team, you will manage end‑to‑end processing of workers compensation claims and wage entitlements, ensuring compliance with ICARE, SIRA and TMF guidelines while providing accurate, timely support to injured employees.
Process and manage workers compensation claims, documentation and wage payments from initiation to completion
Notify workplace injuries to the insurer and TMF Claims Manager within legislative timeframes
Maintain accurate payroll adjustments, medical certificate processing and wage reimbursement reconciliations
Navigate multiple systems including Solv Injury Payroll Module, HealthRoster, StaffLink and external claims platforms
Prepare reports, average weekly earnings calculations (PIAWE) and documentation to support compliance and litigation needs

How to Apply

Demonstrated experience in payroll, financial/analytical roles within a Workers Compensation environment.
Experience with the use of electronic rostering systems including Stafflink, , and Healthroster.
Demonstrated proficiency all Microsoft office applications along with electronic claims management systems (such as Solv Injury & Claims Manager systems).
Demonstrated capability to develop and analyse detailed wage related reports, including reimbursement schedules, reconciliation and adjustment audit reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle challenges concerning weekly wages, legislative calculations and rosters of a technical nature with multiple stakeholders in a professional manner.
Demonstrated autonomous work ethic, with the ability to self-manage task deadlines, and proactively consult, review, problem solve and execute tasks
Demonstrated capacity to influence managers and coach and train them in order to enhance their efficiency in respect to roster and wage matters concerning their injured staff.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and employee records appropriately.
