What you'll be doing
Join a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of Allied Health services, As the Allied Health Project Officer, you’ll drive impactful initiatives across all Allied Health professions, aligning with WSLHD’s strategic direction and transforming healthcare delivery.
In this role you will:
- Plan, coordinate, and implement key Allied Health initiatives.
- Collaborate with leadership to assess capability and capacity needs.
- Lead projects on data management, service delivery, and workforce improvements.
- Drive service model redesigns and continuous improvement efforts.
- Work alongside a passionate team to shape the future of healthcare services.

Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in a health, project management or related field and demonstrated equivalent Allied Health clinical experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of the complexities and current challenges facing the diversity of the 23 allied health professions and their impact of the operations of NSW Health allied health clinical services.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in project management, and change management and undertaking planning and/or redesign initiatives.
- Extensive experience in making complex judgements in working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams, meeting deadlines and prioritising multiple demands with a focus on negotiation and organisational attributes with highly developed critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to research, undertake and prepare written reports and review of new and existing business processes including the ability to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPI).
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including ability to prepare high level report and papers for publication as well as sound negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products - ability to trend and interpret complex information and data rapidly and accurately.
